The UK and Malaysia have always enjoyed close bilateral ties, and many British expats are also living and working in Malaysia. So with everything happening in the UK recently – think Brexit, the UK general elections, and the UK Going Global campaign – what does that mean for Malaysia? How will we be affected?
Get your questions answered at the What’s Next For UK & Malaysia event, happening on 20 July at the MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre from 9.15am to 10.30am. The keynote address will be delivered by HE Vicki Treadell CMG, MVO, British High Commissioner to Malaysia, alongside YB Datuk Haji Ahmad bin Haji Maslan, Deputy Minister of International Trade & Industry in Malaysia.
Her Excellency will be providing unique insights into the Brexit affair as well as developments on the UK Going Global campaign, so it’s a good chance to get some in-depth perspectives on those and the UK general elections’ hung parliament beyond the regular news reports.
The event is free, but seats are limited to 100pax so if you’re keen on attending, do RSVP at email@example.com or contact 03-2163 1784. Registration begins at 8.45am.
