The 16th edition of the Le French Festival returns with many exciting and cultural activities held across three cities in Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Kota Kinabalu. The festival’s main aim is to showcase the vibrant French arts scene which includes cinema, visual arts, education, science and performing arts.
The choice is yours – watch French movies at selected GSC cinemas from 4 to 21 May (Pavilion KL, MidValley Megamall and 1Utama) with popular titles like ‘One Man and his Cow (La Vache), ‘Chocolate (Monsieur Chocolat) and ‘The Odyssey’ (L’Odyssée). Catch renowned performers such as pianist Maxime Zecchini, the Cie Uzumaki Dance Company and the dazzling performing arts group of Cie Non Nova as they treat audiences to a feast for all the senses. Be sure to reserve your seats for cooking classes; Mixology with Martell and Champagne, and cognac tastings with Martell. The festival also features a cinematic exhibition – ‘G’aumont: 120 Years of Cinema’ – and an architectural presentation of the work of Jacques Ferrier.
