Do you watch Counting Cars, Celebrity Car Wars, Ride N’ Seek or other History shows? Even if you don’t, get yourself down to the first-ever History Con 2017 in the country to find out what all the hype’s about.
Held from 4-6 August at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) in Selangor, this mega entertainment convention comes fresh from a stint in Manila and is set to bring celebrities from your favourite shows down to Malaysia along with zones full of entertaining activities for the whole family.
Outdoors, you might get to ride alongside Malaysian rally car legend Karamjit Singh in the Karamjit Rally Car Stunt Show, or motorbike maven Jaime Dempsey in the Motorbike Motorcade. Photo Face-Off judge Justin Mott will be giving tips to photography enthusiasts on a photo walk around MAEPS.

There’s much more to see inside with five zones to visit. The Motoring Zone includes live car airbrushing with ‘Horny’ Mike Henry of Counting Cars and local talent Jazz Wong, a VR experience of car football and a remote control car football game by Celebrity Car Wars, and a display of 12 classic cars among others.
It’s game time at the Games Zone with a FIFA17 Borneo E-Arena Qualifier round and the Just Dance 2017 experience where you score points by following an on-screen dancer’s routine. Try to survive alone in the wild through the ALONE VR experience, test your wits in the Mini Escape Room or challenge yourself with giant inflatables.
Catch the OWG display of life-sized dinosaurs and the interactive showcase by the National Museum in the Malaysian History zone, with exhibits including a Perak Man replica. Watch Forged In Fire champion Ryu Lim demonstrate how to forge weapons and get your own face put on a POS Malaysia stamp!
The Ministry of Youth and Sports will be holding exciting sports activities at the Sports Zone, not least of which is the first-ever History Con Badminton Championships. Malaysian badminton champions Hafiz Hashim and Cheah Soon Kit will also be playing in Legends sessions.
