The highlight of the fourth week (14-20 Aug) of the George Town Festival is dance and music. Everyone can dance, which is the message that Gala (19-20 Aug) hopes to send as ordinary Penangites of all walks of life come together to dance in this theatrical gala.

In The Amorphous Beings (18-20 Aug) combines Chinese dance elements with contemporary aesthetics, while Hakanai (18-19 Aug) uses onstage animations to complement a solo choreographic performance.

Meanwhile, The TENG Ensemble from Singapore blends Eastern and Western sounds to bring their audience on a musical adventure in TENG@George Town (18-19 Aug) for the first time, while Rhythm in Bronze (18-19 Aug) introduces listeners to the beauty of gamelan music.
