Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) recently launched INVITED, a free-to-join loyalty programme offering members access to special rates and other benefits when they book hotels via SLH. The loyalty programme has three tiers, with the highest rewarding guests who have booked six or more stays in a year. Guests are rewarded with simple gestures like a bottle of a particular guest’s favourite wine to a yacht trip. Something to remember if you're visiting any of these SLH hotels in Malaysia!

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is now offering customers WhatsApp updates on booking confirmations, check-in notifications, boarding passes and flight status information. This makes KLM the first airline with a verified WhatsApp business account. Customers can opt to receive information via Whatsapp (available in 10 different languages) when booking tickets or checking in via KLM.com.
What's more, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has partnered with Flexiroam, providing complimentary travel data for travellers from Kuala Lumpur between 1 November 2017 to 28 February 2018. To redeem this complimentary Flexiroam X Starter pack comprising of a Flexiroam X Microchip and 100mb of roaming data, travellers must book their flights via klm.com.my and register their details at my.klmcontests.com from now till 15 October 2017.

ETA in Qatar
Qatar has made Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) available to visitors with residence permits or visas from UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Gulf Cooperation Council countries, or the Schengen countries following the Qatar Ministry of Interior’s and Qatar Tourism Authority’s official announcement. Before travelling, eligible visitors can obtain an ETA by completing an online application at www.qatarvisaservice.com. With the ETA, travellers can get a visa-on-arrival to Qatar valid for 30 days.

Eastern and Oriental Express
From 22 to 25 November 2017, the journey on board Southeast Asia’s iconic Eastern and Oriental Express sleeper train from Bangkok to Singapore will offer guests a breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner menu designed by award-winning Thai Chef Ian Kittichai. The gastronomic excitement continues from 1 to 3 March 2018 with Chef Luke Mangan as he prepares a three-course dinner for a two-night journey from Singapore to Bangkok, passing through Malaysia’s ancient rural landscapes and structures.
