Good news for anyone thinking of heading to Germany or coming from Germany in late 2018 – Condor Airlines is commencing a thrice-weekly Frankfurt-Kuala Lumpur route from 5 November 2018.
There have been no direct flights between Germany and Kuala Lumpur since Malaysia Airlines and Lufthansa stopped these services. Currently, Condor is the only airline servicing this route.
Flights from Frankfurt depart for KLIA on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, while Kuala Lumpur flights to Frankfurt Airport depart on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Both are non-stop and the FRA-KUL leg takes 12 hours, while the KUL-FRA leg takes 13 hours and 25 minutes.
Reservations can now be made on Condor’s website for 5 November 2018 until 23 April 2019, with prices ranging from €299 to €1249 one way*. Passengers will board Thomas Cook Airlines UK’s Airbus A330-200 aircraft, with codes DE2358 (from Frankfurt) and DE2359 (from Kuala Lumpur).
The fare includes:
- Baggage - 6kg hand/20kg hold (Economy), 10kg hand/25kg hold (Premium)
- Meal - Standard (Economy), Premium (Premium). Gluten-free, vegan, kids and other options are available for a fee.
- Drinks – Soft drinks (Economy), alcohol (Premium)
- Seatback entertainment (different options for Economy and Premium)
Premium Class members also enjoy complimentary seat reservation, Priority Package (for avoiding queues at check-in, security check, boarding and baggage carousel), more miles and so on.
You can also book sports equipment, animal transportation, and rail tickets to the airport for extra charges.
