Christmas Wishes

Margot
3 years old

Like all kids, Margot wants lots of presents for Christmas, but when asked specifically what she wants this year, she explained “people and a car... it means a pink car and a pink man”. Besides opening presents, she’ll be singing Christmas songs and helping her mother bake rice krispies for Christmas.

What she wants under the Christmas tree: Barbie

Christmas wish: She’s spent every Christmas in Malaysia, but if she had one wish it would be to spend it with her entire family from London and Washington DC.

Favourite Christmas memory: She hasn’t had that many Christmases but her favourite is from last year, when she dressed up as Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer while Millie (her younger sister) dressed up as Santa.

Amber
6 years old

Amber has come to love the ever-sunny weather in the past five years that she’s lived here. She loves the holiday season because there’s lots of joy and laughter.

What she wants under the Christmas tree: A RoboCat (she has a dog who wouldn’t take well with cats).

Christmas wish: For her dog, Topsy, to have stronger legs “as two of them are weak right now”.

Favourite Christmas memory: When her cousins came down all the way from Ireland and spent the holidays with her.

Elliot
5 years old

The youngest of the three, Elliot has been here all his life. He loves going to the malls in Malaysia as he feels they are “cool”. He also loves the Chinese New Year season as he enjoys watching the lion dances. To him, Christmas is all about opening presents and eating minced pies.

What he wants under the Christmas tree: A dinosaur that understands what he says and does what he wants.

Christmas wish: For his room to “always be like Christmas so that Santa would visit me”.

Savannah
9 years old

Savannah is a down-to-earth girl who appreciates the small things in life. When asked to look back on this year, her top moment was watching elephants at the elephant sanctuary a few months ago.

What she wants under the Christmas tree: Some Bath & Body Works products and a Lottie doll

Christmas wish: For her dog, Topsy, to have stronger legs “as two of them are weak right now”.

Her favourite thing about Christmas: Being together as a family and seeing the looks on everyone’s faces when they open their presents.
