The HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens is one of the best sporting events to watch with teams coming from all over the world to compete in this prestigious series. The Sevens returned to Singapore in 2016 with Kenya beating Series champions and favourite to win, Fiji. Last year saw a Canada-USA final with Canada taking top honours in what was a truly thrilling game.
This year sees 15 teams including Fiji, Argentina, Australia, Scotland, France, Kenya, New Zealand, South Africa and Japan playing 45 games over two days at the iconic National Stadium on 28 and 29 April. Tickets are on sale now with Premium Weekend Passes with reserved seating on level 3 going for S$220, while a two-day pass for Category 1 (free seating at level 3) and Category 2 (free seating at level 4) costs S$150 and S$50 respectively.
This year, there will be special family packages available with lower booking fees and prices as low as S$120 for two adults and two kids (aged four to 18). There will also be weekend passes specifically for young people up to the age of 18 at reduced prices of S$50 and S$25 for Category 1 and 2 seating. Children under four get free entry if they sit on their parents’ laps.
This is a fantastic family weekend away so book your tickets and accommodation now.
