
Mermaids Take Over Sunway Lagoon
Sunway Lagoon will be all about mermaids from 23-31 March so be sure to bring the little mermaid fans in your family down for an afternoon of splashing fun. Mermaids Alive! will see the Surf Beach area packed with immersive activities including Meet & Greet sessions with the mermaids, mermaid makeovers, swimming with the mermaids and plenty of photo opportunities. Transparent Fish Exhibition
From now till 31 March, head over to the Education Corner in Aquaria KLCC where an interesting exhibition of transparent fish is being held. As the name suggests, these fish are see-through and they are found in deep waters near the ocean floor, so are a rare sight. Bring the kids for an educational day out.

Soap Workshop
If your kids like Japanese cartoon characters and craft, this is a fun workshop to sign up for. Head to the Iloha Culture Centre in Bangsar on 28 March for a handmade soap workshop where kids will be taught how to create stained glass and cookie soaps in the shape of their favourite Japanese cartoon characters. This class is suitable for kids aged five to 12.

Family-friendly Activities at Taman Tugu
The Taman Tugu Project has organised family-friendly activities for all the weekends in March. This urban park in the city centre is a fantastic green oasis to hike, discover tropical plants, have a picnic and participate in the interesting workshops, activities and yoga sessions held regularly. For the week of 23-31 March, there will be a children’s colouring contest, and a craft activity on most Saturdays.

The Legendary Princesses of Malaysia
The Story Book presents a storytelling session on 30 March about five legendary Malaysian princesses who were all famous for different things. Discover the tales behind the princesses Gunung Ledang, Hang Li Po, Bidasari, Ulek Mayang and Saadong, based on a book illustrated by Emilia Yusof. Good for families with kids aged three to 12.
