A handsome bar where you can lounge around in sophisticated settings.

The way to the city’s newest lounge and bar may be unassuming, but once you find your way the handsome Saro Lounge – with its exposed brick walls, leather seats and elegant wood panelling – provide sophisticated settings for a nightcap after a long workday (and also a good excuse to skip the rush hour traffic out of the city). What sets this place apart is its unique LED light feature that’s integrated into the ceiling of the main lounge area – we suggest looking up after you’ve had a few drinks. If you’re in a big group, book the Private Room which even comes with karaoke facilities and its own restroom.

The cocktails are inspired by Asian flavours and the menu features a selection of classics that have been updated with the Saro touch – like the Saro Sour, a delicious cocktail made with whisky and garnished with torched fresh herbs; or the refreshing Signature Monkey 47 filled with sloe gin and Fever-Tree Tonic. A succinct menu of small bites and main courses will keep the munchies at bay. Head Chef Nopporn Nutto draws from his Thai background to create dishes like the Signature Shells (crispy filo pastry with different toppings) and the fusion beef or lamb on skewers, served with garlic fried rice.
Find your way to Saro Lounge on Level 8 of the classy Pavilion Elite. The lounge is open Wednesdays to Saturdays from 4pm to 3am, and Sundays to Tuesdays until 1am.
