Recipe: Berrylicious Breakfast Smoothie

Breakfast

Serves 4–6 people

INGREDIENTS

300g boysenberries
300g raspberries
750g cranberry/blueberry yoghurt drink
½ carton pink dragon fruit juice
250g Greek style yoghurt with berries
4 bananas (add more for thicker smoothie)
Milk (add depending on thickness you want)

METHOD

Take a large blender and place all the ingredients in. Whizz it up until thick, creamy and smooth. This is so fast to make you’ll be making seconds for everyone as it tastes so great and is full of antioxidants that we all need.

Start off your day with a healthy, energy-boosting smoothie. Berries are full of antioxidants and flavonoids. Flavonoids are known for their antioxidant activity and supposed contribution to prevention of cancers and cardiovascular diseases.
