A shrine to all things gin, Pahit blends rustic charm and signature drinks in one place.

Despite the name, which means 'bitter' in Malay, Pahit will hit a sweet spot with people who like a charmingly rustic decor and tasty gin concoctions. This quirky watering hole makes its home within Sekeping Sin Chew Kee, an old guesthouse on a quiet row of homes that date back to the 1920s.
A labour of love by Malaysian bartender CK (of cocktail bar Coley fame) and his colleague Boy, Pahit touts itself as being 'Kuala Lumpur's only gin-focused bar', and it seems determined to earn that tagline with an extensive selection of gins and gin cocktails.
Kick back on the rattan chairs, take pictures framed by wooden shutters and enjoy the quiet yet quirky ambience, all while you sip on their signature Gin Pahit or their sous vide fruit-infused gin and tonics in a number of exotic variations.
