Recipe: Homemade Eggnog

INGREDIENTS
6 eggs (separated)
1 quart milk
1 pint heavy cream
1 tbsp ground nutmeg
3/4 cup sugar
3 oz bourbon
3 oz spiced rum

METHOD
Beat the egg yolks until they turn light in colour, adding half a cup of sugar as you beat. After that’s done, add the milk, cream and liquor to the yolks. Beat egg whites until they peak. Fold the whites into the mixture. Then, pour into mugs. Finally, grate the ground nutmeg over the drinks. Serves six.
