Bottles & Bottles
With a name like this you can expect a good selection of wine from Europe through to California, as well as Weihenstephaner weissbiers from Germany. An advantage of buying here is that it doesn’t matter if you don’t know the difference between a sauvignon blanc and a chardonnay because there’s always someone who can offer advice. The store is conveniently located next to the supermarket at The Gardens, and there’s also a tasting area so you can try your wine before buying.

TWE Fine Wine Shop
Considered one of the top five wine retailers in the country, TWE Fine Wine Shop started out in the 60s as a Chinese medicine hall selling traditional herbal cures. They now deal in wine, liquor and cigars, which is quite the jump. But they have a great selection catering to both the casual drinker and connoisseurs alike. If you’re looking for a less well-known label, this would be a good place to start; and they have regular free wine tasting sessions too. There’s also a delivery service available.
