On 11 March, Excelsior International School organised and hosted the Run For Hope (RFH), which is an annual worldwide 5km run that raises awareness and support for cancer research. This year saw 400 runners participating in this charity event which has been supported by the Four Seasons group of hotels and resorts for more than 30 years. Excelsior International School hosted, organised and sponsored the run for the Johor Bahru community with all proceeds donated to cancer charities.
The race began and ended at the school and was followed by a lucky draw with great prizes sponsored by local businesses. Students from the Excelsior International School Rotary Interact Club, which is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Johor Bahru, were very much involved in the run. They helped by supplying water to runners along the route, handing out gift bags to participants and marshalling the event.
