The Guinness Jonah Jones Rugby 7's is back! The much anticipated 7 Rugby tournament returns with the promise of more thrills and spills.
A celebration of sporting excellence, fun and entertainment, get ready for the longest running 7 aside rugby tournament in the Southeast Asia hosted by the Royal Selangor Club.
A two-day event, all competition rounds take place at the Royal Selangor Club Kiara Sports Annexe in Bukit Kiara.
Featuring five segments, the tournament categories are as follows:
Jonah Jones Super League (open category)
8 teams / 12 players plus 2 officials
No restriction on players, whether semi professional or professional. Imports are allowed.
Jonah Jones Clubs (open age group)
16 teams / 12 players plus 2 officials
No semi professional or professional players are allowed in this segment.
Jonah Jones Colts (U21)
16 teams / 12 players plus 2 officials
No semi professional or professional players are allowed in this segment.
Women 7s
8 teams / 12 players plus 2 officials
Jonah Jones Heavyweight 10s
4 teams
Players must be above the age 35 or over 120kgs in weight on the day of the tournament.
