LOL Fest 2017

Outrageous comedy of all shapes and sizes will take off at Kuala Lumpur’s LOL Fest 2017, the country’s most exciting comedy festival. Running for its second year, LOL Fest features a wild mix of local and international comedians.

First up is the all-female extravaganza series Superkam Ultra, made up of Joanne Kam, Shamaine Othman, Sharul Channa, Bibi K. Poh and latest addition Hannan Azlan from 24-26 March. Running parallel is the Magners Comedy Festival on 25 and 26 March, featuring Southeast Asia’s best comics.

Intrepid entertainer Kumar brings his controversial comedy to new heights on 30 and 31 March with KumarSutra, while Malaysia’s own Artificially Intelligent: Improvholics Anonymous will battle it up with the Pirates of Tokyo Bay at the Improv Battle on 31 March and 1 April.

The Roast Of Superheroes on 5 and 6 April will see comedians Kavin Jay, Papi Zak, Brian Tan and three others give Marvel’s Civil War heroes a slightly sillier twist. On 8-9 April, Japanese comedic duo Gamarjobat will perform their family-friendly brand of energetic vaudevillian silent comedy.

On 7 April, Kavin Jay, Justin Rivera and Papi Zak will perform their usual antics and end with a burger eating competition of epic proportions in Bite Me! Multitalented Indonesian comedian Mo Sidik will have his first tour special, Mo Fattitude on 13 and 14 April and the six-hour Laugh-a-thon comedy special will commence on 15 April, split into three sessions that can be viewed separately or all in one shot.
