Give that frown a rest and laugh yourself silly at the Kuala Lumpur International Comedy Festival (KLICFest 2017), a three-day festival of hilarity happening at Publika from 21-23 April.
Headed by the 'Godfather' of Malaysian stand-up comedy, Harith Iskander, visitors to The Black Box and The Bee in Publika will get to enjoy hours of fun with local and international comedians as they light up the stage. Think international comedy stars like Paul Ogata and Prince Abdi alongside local talent such as Andrew Netto and Kavin Jay.
Besides comedy shows, this unique festival promises to be a thrilling weekend treat for the whole family with a line-up of free activities like speech and drama, indoor soccer, creative dance and a flash mob organised specially for kids by the Erika Perez Sports Academy.
Get the most out of the KLICFest 2017 with a daily pass for RM158 that lets you see six shows per day, including two additional shows on Friday evening (21 April). Concluding the event is a motivation session with Harith Iskander, targeted at both adults and students to draw positivity from life through the power of laughter. Tickets to these final session are RM45 for adults and RM35 for students.
Penangites, don't worry - you aren't left out! There will be a special KLICFest 2017 showcase at The Royale Bintang at 8.30pm on 19 April. Harith Iskander will bring his 'To Know Malaysia, Is To Laugh Malaysia' show to Penang along with fellow performers Paul Ogata, Prince Abdi, Katerina Vrana and Christopher Daley. The show will also hit Ramada Plaza in Melaka on 21 April and Hilton Kota Kinabalu in Sabah on 24 April.
