2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

Watch as colourful hot air balloons fl oat over the minarets of Putrajaya. Themed ‘1 World, 1 Malaysia, 1 Fiesta', this event will feature 23 balloonists from 12 countries including Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, New Zealand and Japan. There'll be five tethered balloons for public rides, twice a day, as well as more side attractions than you can shake a stick at. Kite-flying and paper airplane demonstrations, a petting zoo and bouncy castles will keep the kids happy, while parents can escape on a cruise down the lake, or take to the air in one of the helicopter rides. A special treat is in store for those who stay on till sunset, when the balloons will be lit up but held to the ground, creating a huge light display in the dusk.
