A production started 15 months ago and carried out in collaboration with five highly-acclaimed public personalities, the new high-end compilations are now available in stores.

Created to exemplify each celebrity’s inner personality, the assortment features a series of home furnishings custom-designed to fit in well with four of the most important rooms in a home. Every set offers a unique style as well as interesting variations to suit the urban taste.

Bedroom: Stylishly comfortable

Making up a vital component of one’s personal dwelling place, the bedroom is in many ways a person’s most private and intimate space, defined by his or her innate character and preferences. For singing sensation and fashion icon, Yuna, this is definitely the case.

With luxury and serenity in mind, the artiste put together a design which resonates perfectly with her own individuality. “When I’m home, I am in my comfort zone. The colours, fabric and textures have to compliment me as a person.”

The end result reflects a somewhat, modern bohemian style make-up with gentle shades and tones. Taking in to the surrounding ambiance, one can’t help but feel at ease. An innovation which exudes creativity, the room is a faultless picture of everything that’s right with the world.

Living Room: Naturally chic

Conceptualised by international TV host, producer and speaker Jojo Struys, the living room set is the perfect embodiment of comfort and elegance.

Having worked with earth tones and cosy fabrics for a natural feel, Jojo stressed that her aim was to make available a soothing offering to return home to after a long day.

“Coming home should be about relaxation. I decided to go with an L-shaped sofa so you can put your feet up while watching TV,” the celebrity enthused.

Dining Room: Deliciously delightful

The brainchild of TV personality and entrepreneur Wong Chui Ling, the dining room design was clearly well thought out with practicality at the heart of her inventive process. Grand yet realistic, the refreshing arrangement allows for entertaining at home, minus the frills.

Bringing simplicity and minimalism to the table, Chui Ling explains how the un-complex setting offers solace from the troubles of your day, especially if it’s been a long one.

“I usually prefer clean, uncomplicated designs but sometimes a splash of colour here and there can help accentuate or brighten up a room.”

Kids’ Room: Pretty in purple

Actor-actress couple Vanidah Imran and Rashidi Ishak took on the kids’ room; an apt strategy given their understanding of what makes for a cosy and safe haven for children, being parents themselves. The main idea behind this creation was to preserve the ‘princess forever’ fantasy, locking it in an unending dream.

The duo shares that a four-post bed is something many often wish for, regardless of age and creative sense. Others yet, wish they didn’t have to relinquish their inner princess at all. Vanidah and Rashidi collectively suggest that no one really has too.

Blending modest accents with captivating tones, purple instead of pink is the shade that stands out the most in their layout. Complete with chest drawers and intricate innovation, the user-friendly bed is one a child never has to outgrow.

“From what we’ve seen, there aren’t many choices available in the market when it comes to children’s furniture. So, we chose to focus on something just for the kids,” offered the husband-and-wife team.
