Other bars in KL may as well write the next couple of months off. There is only one trendy, new nightspot that expatriates will be talking about until well into the Autumn.
The View at G Tower is so disarmingly cool, so vibrantly chic and so breathtaking of, well, view, that it is destined to be the place for everyone to see and be seen at probably well into 2012.
The first Pernod-Ricard only bar in Malaysia has gone to some trouble to create a fabulous drinking den. Perched atop the KL skyline, it’s got a terrace with canopy and long bar and large indoor bars with more room for tables and chairs along the walls, with vistas over Ampang and far beyond.
With the bar being run by a drinks magnate, you can rely on good mixology and excellent, original creations. You can also readily imagine this being the ideal setting for breathtaking events. It is a bar of epic potential.
G Tower has already lodged itself firmly in the conscious of KL-ites with its modern design, slick appearance, excellent Italian restaurant Tanzini and now a bar to rival some of KL’s best and most celebrated. Attention: Casbah, SkyBar, Luna, Sultan Lounge, et al. Watch out for the View.
