Three SEA Games medalists from Sunway College have been honoured with the Sunway Talent Scholarships in the field of Sport which include a 100 per cent tuition fee waiver.
Katrina Ann Abdul Hadi, Jacqueline Jenelee Sijore and Sin Li Jane who won nine medals in total at the recent 26th SEA Games were awarded the scholarship by The Jeffrey Cheah Foundation.
Katrina is a Canadian International Matriculation (CIMP) student and she completed a clean sweep taking gold in all the synchronised swimming events. The young athlete will be eligible to carry forward her scholarship into her university studies if she decides to continue at Sunway University.
Jacqueline, who is currently studying in the American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP) won the gold in the women’s doubles bowling event and bronze in the women’s team bowling. Li Jane bagged silver in the women’s individual bowling category and bronze in the women’s team category.
