Fifth Year in the Making for EtonHouse Malaysia

Over 200 students, parents, faculty and administration gathered together to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the school, hosted by school founder Miss Mei Tan and EtonHouse Malaysia’s Principal Mr. Bengt Rosberg on October 9.

Miss Mei Tan added nostalgia to the event by speaking about the various obstacles they had undergone to come thus far in five years trying to establish a school and raise a toddler at the same time proved to be a challenge for her, but she applauded her staff for the continuous support and effort put in to help her make the school become what it is today.

The assembly ended with a cake-cutting ceremony performed by three of the oldest students from the school. Attendees were then ushered to an international-themed potluck lunch, provided by the EtonHouse Malaysia Parent Association.

The school is expected to have a verification visit as a candidate for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) in the beginning of the next year’s academic calendar.
