Responsibilities:

- The successful candidate will be working as an integral figure within the renowned, fun and dynamic Time Out Kuala Lumpur team.
- You will take control of the listings in several sections of the magazine. This means controlling, contacting and chasing hundreds of contacts each month.
- Once you have the events and happenings information you will be required to put it into correct 'house style' and assist the editor, sub editors and designers to lay them out in a clear, interesting and correct manner.
- Training will be provided on house style, the processes that allow you to do the role.
- You will also be given the full list of contacts for Time Out KL to manage and grow.
- You should be brilliantly organised and have passion for details.
- You should also be a clever and resourceful writer. We do not accept 'cut and pastes' or 'PR fluff' so each listing needs re-wording, which is a task that needs a sharp mind and intelligent writing style.
- You should know KL well enough to be aware of regular happenings and the hot venues in the city.
- This is a junior role, which is very likely to develop into a management or senior role. The possibilities for career advancement are very high for a candidate with the right attitutde and application.
- It would be advantageous for candidates to be familiar with Time Out KL and especially the audience that reads the magazine.

Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field. - Required language(s): English
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Journalism or equivalent.
- Full-Time positions available.
